Singer songwriter Bret Martin is a colon cancer survivor. Energized with a new found realization that he could help other patients by sharing his cancer adventure through song and the spoken word, Bret has created this remarkably poignant, often humorous, audio CD especially for cancer patients and their loved ones.
Marek J. Bozdech M.D. practices hematology and oncology in Santa Rosa, CA after starting marrow transplant programs at the University of Wisconsin and University of California, San Francisco. He enjoys hiking in the Sierras, skiing and reading.
Bret also received Blood Bank of the Redwoods’ first-ever Chairman’s Choice Award. The award is given to an individual who has demonstrated exemplary, extraordinary, tireless, and/or some particular unmatched achievement on behalf of the organization. Bret Martin has become the blood center’s greatest advocate and a living, walking advertisement for blood donation.
