For adults with loved ones dealing with a life-threatening illness. Meets every Tuesday from 4:00PM -5:30PM at 110 Stony Point Road, Suite 110 in Santa Rosa.
Facing cancer can be a very difficult journey. The “WINGS and WINGMEN” cancer peer support program matches cancer patients with carefully screened and trained peer volunteers. Our volunteers provide support, comfort and practical advice to others who have been newly diagnosed or who are facing new decisions with their cancer. Art therapy program for patients currently receiving cancer treatment or who have had cancer treatment in the past. These open art studio classes are held the first Wednesday of the month from 5:30PM to 7:30PM at the Finley Center, Person Senior Wing, 2060 West College Avenue, Santa Rosa.
Gentle, therapeutic yoga for those receiving cancer treatment or have completed treatment. This class offers a space, practice and a welcoming community to promote wellness. Classes held every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:30 AM – Noon at Three Dog Yoga, 1617 Terrace Way, Santa Rosa. Please register to attend, at the number above, and arrive 10 minutes prior to class start time.
Promote wellness and healing through gentle yoga, guided meditation and sound healing. This class is held on the last Wednesday of each month from 5:30PM to 7:30PM at the Finley Center, Person Senior Wing, 2060 West College Avenue, Santa Rosa. Please arrive 15 minutes early to attend class.
Provides information about what you can do to care for or reduce your risk of developing lymphedema. Great for those facing surgery for cancer. Lake County Women’s Cancer Support Group Offering peer support and a safe space for women with cancer living in Lake County, CA. Facilitated by local cancer coach and two-time cancer survivor Mariette Peeters, with occasional presentations and guest speakers.
