Born into a musical family, singing came naturally, and Jern-Miller flourished in Petaluma’s country setting. It was with her father’s old Yamaha guitar that she felt instant comfort, and was inspired to write songs and adapt cover tunes to her own style.

Jern-Miller will be joined by Ben Dubin on stand-up bass, harmonica and harmonies. Hannah plays today in honor of her father who passed from cancer.

Sara Keck, MD believes that regular physical activity is the foundation for health and wellness. There are various ways to exercise, and for many people walking is feasible and accessible. Survive + Thrive: A Monthly Mindfulness Community Wellness + Support Gathering for Those Impacted by Cancer

Dates: This event will be held every third Sunday of the month from 4 – 5:15 pm
Class is free but donations are welcome to support our programming
Facilitator: Stacy Conlon

Address: Metta Yoga San Rafael 835 4th Street, Suite B San Rafael, CA 94901

This group was created because a cancer diagnosis can feel lonely, and finding the proper support can be challenging. This community was designed to be a safe, loving, and restorative space where cancer survivors and thrivers can show up exactly as they are no matter where they are on their treatment journey and receive deep nourishment, connection, and healing. This experience is not focused on providing solutions or “fixing” anything. Instead, it’s a warm, supportive beacon of light that has the potential to heal, uplift, and inspire.

More information is available at their website.

You can contact Stacy Conlon at stacymconlon@gmail.com or (415) 361-3777.
